I've started a season with the Colorado Avalanche and I've been playing for already season and a half and just can't win!
In both seasons I've won about one to five games, of course I was renked last Some where with 30 - 40 points. My team wasn't that bed , my lines are:
Tanguay - Forsberg - Jagr
Konowalchuk - Damphhousse - Sakic
C.Gratton - Yelle - Deadmarsh
M.Murray - McLean - J.Ruutu
Blake - McCabe
Skrastins - Foote
Liles - Salo
Golies:
Last season:
Aebischer
Sauve
This season:
Cechmanik
Sauve
So It might not be the best team but sure not the worse team.
One more thing which bothers me is that I usually have something around 10 penalties a game from which I usually block 10-8 each game, so I would like to rduce it too.
So someone please Halp me the game id getting on my nurves!!!
Imposible to win?

Well, really your team isnt that bad...
What I would try to adjust are your tactics. There u can move from your play style to your agression (penalties).
When I started to play this game I also had more or less a good team, but could never win...then I adjusted my tactics and things changed.
Give it a try!!!

I'd suggest either downloading the .pdf version of our EHM Guide and reading through it or checking the online version you can access via the 'EHM Guide' link at the top of the forum pages. I too can only guess that your tactics are leaving your team playing too risky and other teams are capitalizing.

didn't work for me...
I let my head coach doing all the work. And I have very difficulty to win (I'm Montreal). I try to trade, but the only things I can have, is weak players for draft. But I'm nearby the salary cap so, I can have them. And this is not the worst...
My backup goalie (Huet) can't play games. Because, his game condition still at 40-50% and my head coach didn't give him a break.
Does someone can help me?

Handle the practices yourself.
During pre-season put everyone (except the goalies) in an intense conditioning and skating regime.
During the first half of the season put your best shooters on shooting, your other offensive forwards in offense skills, put your defenders and defensive forwards in defensive skill.
Sometime in January, put all the skaters in the conditioning regime.
During Olympic breaks, give everyone a break from practice for the first half of the games.
Also, give your star players games off every now and then. I tend to give them a game off when I am playing a weaker opponent. I've also played with only 18 players because of the salary cap at times and still destroyed high quality teams.

I would recommend upgrading your second line wings and move Sakic back to center. At the end of a season, try signing cheap RFAs for that have a compensation of a second round pick (I was able to get Peter Prucha, Kari Lehtonen, and Bobby Ryan all for second round picks via offersheets).
I would also look for a new goalie... Cechmyfiveholemanek is overrated.
