He at least wants his starting goalie position back. WOW! He's off to such a strong start. I know you've got to ride the hot hand but I also don't want to leave Tukka sitting too long either. I guess too much quality goal-tending is a nice problem to have.Danny wrote:Timmeh wants his Vezina back
How about Caron? He's looking good in his first pro season. He's keeping his game simple and playing good 2-way hockey. I think Bergeron is a good influence on him too.
And once again I am going to declare my joy with Horton. What a trade, huh?

They weren't saying "Thank You, Kessel". It sounded a bit like it. I heard one of the guys that does the radio broadcast of the game say this morning that it was "F#$* You, Kessel". Just as funny but a little more mean-spirited. Whatever was said, I think it had Kessel off his game. In a post-game interview he said it meant nothing to him but he was clearly not the guy who had been scoring almost a goal a game so far this season.
And how about Timmy? I was in the "Trade Timmy" camp this summer. I'm glad he's proving me wrong. From what I've been hearing, his hip was really a factor last season. Now that it's better, he's in his Vezina form.

Thomas will come back to earth. he will... I know it. Whoops I said that two years ago,,and it took til last season for that to happen. I hope he comes down this week....I have to deal with his owner in fantasy hockey.
Hartnell hair cut looks bad. He needs to grow it again. that was awesome. But yeah, the charity was his own. If he did not cut his hair no wifey. Heh. And look who is playing on a line with Scotty tonight? hmm....

Yeah, that was too dirty from him. Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADCqSloHCo8 and see how Carcillo slashed DiPietro to his leg from behind, at 1:16philou21 wrote:Briere got suspended 3 games for is dirty trick against Nielsen last Saturday. I was hoping for a good suspension after what his done. This guy is so dirty when he wanted too.

WOW! What a comeback by the Bruins last night! I was busy and didn't get to turn on the game until the second intermission. I had checked the score on my Blackberry and saw that it was 4-2. Honestly, I didn't expect them to be able to score and get back into the game because they were missing Krejci. I am so glad I turned the game on anyways! 5 unanswered goals! Sure, one was an empty-netter. Even better was that 15 different Bruins logged points in that game. If they can keep this up while Krejci recovers, we'll be doing quite well.
And to make life even better, the Leafs keep losing. The Bruins own the Leafs' first round pick again for the upcoming draft. Wouldn't it be crazy if they got another top pick? They don't have to even make the top 2 this year. I'd be delighted with a top 5 pick. Larsson would be a dream (and probably require a top 2 pick) but if the Bruins could get in the top 5 they could possibly get a guy like Murphy.

Coward Avery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjZF1Cdx7Eo Check 4:14 of this video. Avery went after Smid when he wasn't expecting the fight. According to Smid, Avery told "maybe next shift" to him when he tried to instigate the fight with Avery.
This guy's got mud instead of brain.

Yeah, I've been incredibly busy at both home and work lately, so I haven't had time for TBL.
Honestly, at this point I was happy to see Sturm go. He's just way too fragile and his cap number was too big for what he brings to the team. He seemed like a genuinely good guy, so I'm also happy that he gets a chance for a fresh start out in LA.
