Philly lost again. Marleau hasn't scored so far, man does he suck.

Must be regular season. Loving my Sharks. Marleau Clowe and Niemi are destroying.

Gotta love Toronto Media....Kessel hasn't scored a goal yet...TRADE HIM! http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/art ... kessel-cox
I mean it is Damien Cox, best known for trolling Leafs fans with his articles, but still the guy is an idiot. In about a week he'll be saying how they need to lock up Kessel long term.

Re: Official 2013 NHL Regular Season Thread
Well...since Phil's value is apparently equal to Seguin PLUS Hamilton...I would trade him too.
But realistically he might get Toronto a #3 winger or centre and a #5 or 6 dman, and maybe a back up goalie.
OH...wait...Toronto already has enough of those.

Yeah, it wasn't the prettiest. But the Bs are looking pretty decent. Rask is doing a flippin great job. And Dougie Hamilton, he's had a brilliant start - 3pts in the past 2 games.Danny wrote:Jeez that Bruins Isles game is the definition of ugly. And DP is playing
Seguin hasn't made much of an impact yet, though.

Bah... Toronto media = Montréal media. Lose two in a row and the whole team must be fired, win two and the Stanley Cup is a formality. Cold streak and you've gotta be kicked out, hot streak and Wayne Gretzky is an average player in comparison.Loosie wrote:Gotta love Toronto Media....Kessel hasn't scored a goal yet...TRADE HIM! http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/art ... kessel-cox

Galchenyuk and Gallagher will stay with MTL. Huberdeau will also stay with Florida and for Grigorenko it's not sure yet.
Oh and surprise! First star of the week is Marleau.

Hamilton was told today by Chia he's staying so you can add him to the list.

Subban finally signed something with MTL. 2 years 5,75 millions. This is what Bergevin is offering to him since this summer. Talk about staying on his words! I hope Subban learned that MTL can win without him. Let's just hope he's not gonna break the nice chemistry now.

Indeed, I hope he learned a lesson. Now, he has to learn to fit in rather than take all the place.

Yeah, especially since everyone in defense is playing well (especially Diaz who last year was barely 5-6) and still Weber as a 7th. Gonna be interesting.

How bad is Edmonton defensively. Watched part of the 3rd period of Oil-Ava and they were in big trouble even though they won the game 4-1

Dallas and Vancouver let me down last night as well as Kazan in the KHL in another bet I had.
Tonight I have two bets on NY Rangers, Pittsburgh & Minnesota in one and then on the other I have Detroit, San Jose, Ottawa & Montreal

Nail Yakupov is probably a formality in Edmonton as well.

Yakupov has been released by the Sting, there's no junior team for him to go back to.
And Frattin with a buzzer beater OT winner!!!

Bad news for the Sens. Spezza is out indefinitely with a back injury.

Yeah, that's a serious blow. The Sens have a good start, hopefully it doesn't harm them too much.philou21 wrote:Bad news for the Sens. Spezza is out indefinitely with a back injury.
Speaking of good starts, without fanfare, the Isles have done well so far. I kinda hope they keep up the pace, after all this time, they're long due some postseason action.
Also, good start for Thomas Vanek. 3 goals tonight, 15 points in 6 games.
