That was an awesome display to watch last night. Kadri got the Gilmour kiss from Cherry last night too.

Re: Official 2013 NHL Regular Season Thread
Robin Regehr got traded to the Kings for 2 second round picks and Jay Bouwmeester got traded to the Blues for their first rounder, Mark Cundari (d-man) and Reto Berra. (goalie) Can't be surprised to see Jay been traded. After doing well with the Panthers he never did something good with the Flames. Never passed the 30 pts mark and this year with 6 goals was his best so far with Calgary.

Re: Official 2013 NHL Regular Season Thread
Incredibly disappointed in Ken Holland that he did not land Bouwmeester in a trade. He had enough assets and more to top STL's offer without breaking his system.
DET has no legit first-pairing d-men in their system to play alongside Kronwall and won't for a year or two yet still (best-case scenario). They absolutely need a minute-eating d-man. And Holland just doesn't see the urgency...

It's going great for Calgary.
We'll just have to see if Kiprusoff moves also. Read that he's negotiating with Toronto.

They're just blowing up Calgary. It looks like they're going to be in rebuilding mode for a few years.

Apperently Holland didn't want to part with his first-rounder which was a key part of the Bouwmeester deal.Primis wrote:Incredibly disappointed in Ken Holland that he did not land Bouwmeester in a trade. He had enough assets and more to top STL's offer without breaking his system.

I wonder if they really want Feaster driving this bus. He's not exactly doing a great job so far, the return for Iggy and Jaybo is underwhelming.bruins72 wrote:They're just blowing up Calgary. It looks like they're going to be in rebuilding mode for a few years.

Yeah, if you're having a fire-sale and trading away your big players to rebuild, he's not exactly the guy I'd want making the deals.Danny wrote:I wonder if they really want Feaster driving this bus. Re: Official 2013 NHL Regular Season Thread
Some reports that the breaking point was the Flames wanted Mrazek as an essential part, which is nuts because Berra <<<<< Mrazek. Anyone else I'd really wonder if that was the case but, Feaster really is that big of a fool he'd probably equate the player rights he got back with the good ones DET probably offered.Loosie wrote:Apperently Holland didn't want to part with his first-rounder which was a key part of the Bouwmeester deal.
The knives are coming out in DET though. We've found the answer to just how patient fans would be with Ken Holland, and the answer is not very long after making a couple really bad deals.

Dallas has started thier sell-off too. Jagr is available and Roy was just traded to Vancouver for a 2nd rounder and a prospect (Kevin Connauton)
EDIT: Jagr to Boston for two prospect and a pick.

Very true, several media outlets have reported it happening, but have also stated trade call has not been made...would be HILARIOUS if This one was swept in on as well.Danny wrote:Jagr deal not official yet though.

I'll reserve judgement on the Jagr deal until I hear the details. Whether I'm happy about this or not depends on what round the pick is and who the prospects are. I'm afraid they might have given up too much for a guy that is 41 years old.

Bob McKenzie@TSNBobMcKenzie
DAL will receive prospects Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne (Plymouth) as part of the Jagr trade with BOS.
Again not official yet, but this is what is being reported (along with a 2nd round pick)

I'm hearing the 2nd rounder turns into a 1st if the Bruins make the ECF. I can live with that deal. I'm interested in seeing Krejci playing with Jagr.

Re: Official 2013 NHL Regular Season Thread
Nice value there. Bs still need to add. Since Dallas is in full selling mode anyway, I want Robidas, make it happen Chia.
Good point B72, Jagr will probably play with his buddy Krejci, don't see any other center on the Bruins compatible with him anyway. So Horton off the top line then ? Peverley - Kelly - Horton would make a great third line if Kelly came back for the playoffs.

And it's now official Jagr is a Bruin. For Lane MacDermid, Cody Payne and a conditinal 2nd round (that becomes 1st if the Bruis make the ECF)

I'm good with this deal. I hate to lose a 1st round pick but it shouldn't be a very high one. I'm totally okay with the prospects they gave up though. I was hoping they wouldn't trade Koko, Spooner, or Knight.

Yeah the deal is not bad for the Bruins. With the Drek Roy trade, I personnaly think that Dallas made some bad trades today. They totally blown up their chances of maybe making the playoffs.

Ryan Clowe to the Rags for 3 drafts picks. Ridiculous trade. SJ won this one.

97 shots in the Bruins vs Sens game. Julien must be livid.

I'm happy with Jagr trade. Now I can cheer for Bruins without remorse
